The no-commission pledge
CRP pays no commission to any facility or official and accepts none. This is written into every agency agreement.
Open pricing
Rebate rates, fees (if any) and the rules applied in each jurisdiction are published.
Pass-through audits
Each period, CRP publishes spend in, value credited, destinations used and balances released, reconciled to the ledger.
No custody of funds
CRP records earned value. Real money is held and moved only by licensed partners.
Audit methodology
- Spend files and vendor feeds are ingested with declared and received totals checked against each other; mismatches are rejected.
- Every credit is an append-only ledger entry with an idempotency key, so nothing is double-counted or silently edited.
- A nightly reconciliation compares each person’s balance with the sum of their rule-applied credits and flags any exception.
- The audit export (CSV plus a signed summary) is available to the agency, its auditors and, in aggregate, the public.
Privacy
CRP does not put incarcerated people’s names or case details in URLs, analytics or error logs, and never shares data with advertisers. Personal identifiers are encrypted at rest and visible only to authorized agency staff.
