Closed-loop store credit
Credit that can only be spent inside a specific store or system.
Closed-loop credit works like a gift card. It can be spent at commissary or on approved services but cannot be withdrawn as cash.
Because it is not cash, it is generally harder to garnish and does not raise money-transmission concerns. It is one of CRP's two default destinations.
