Release card
A prepaid debit card issued at release carrying a person's remaining balance.
Many facilities pay out a person's trust balance on a prepaid card at release. Fee structures on these cards have been a target of consumer-protection enforcement.
CRP's position: never require a card, and always offer a fee-free way to receive funds at release.
